Some people are great personalities as contributors, but not really cut out for the host role. I fear Ted is one of those people.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35759387.post-25343217568681454332009-01-14T12:41:00.000-08:002009-01-14T12:41:00.000-08:00I enjoyed Chopped. So much more civilized and focused on the food, and I find Ted's clipped delivery endearing. It's a very tasty alternative to my other competitive food-show addiction.

And that interview is an absolute hoot! (Because they're all different contestants, you can watch it whenever anyway). Having a "rooting interest" and seeing how the chefs progress is a big part of the TC appeal... I get Ted's point, but the snarkiness is kind of unwarranted. The two shows are totally different.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35759387.post-22163040350761561752009-01-14T08:58:00.000-08:002009-01-14T08:58:00.000-08:00I Love Ted and really miss him on Top Chef, but I'...I Love Ted and really miss him on Top Chef, but I'm impressed with Chopped. Pretty sure he was one of the 50 chefs that didn't make the cut in the second episode of TC (at Craft). He was rather smug in his brief appearance.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35759387.post-25228786185140836282009-01-14T05:28:00.000-08:002009-01-14T05:28:00.000-08:00Any plans to blog "Chopped?"Any plans to blog "Chopped?"Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35759387.post-68159618642768327142009-01-13T20:03:00.000-08:002009-01-13T20:03:00.000-08:00Oh come on!
