However, it's never too late in my book: if the folks at Sears didn't know about "Hairgate" before the episode aired, there are ways to show their displeasure. At the very least, they could withdraw their TC sponsorship, etc.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35759387.post-66300566224574605022007-01-30T16:29:00.000-08:002007-01-30T16:29:00.000-08:00Can you provide a link/source for your comment wit...Can you provide a link/source for your comment with respect to Sears' (Kenmore) displeasure with the Marcel attack? If true, I'm glad to hear it.

However, if Ilan does outcook Marcel tomorrow night and, as a result, wins the competition, precisely what is this supposedly displeased Sears -- let alone Bravo -- willing to do about it? Although I won't hold my breath for any displays of moral conscience, it would be fantastic TV (and on so many levels) if Sears or Bravo would take some kind of public stand against the kind of aggression Ilan and the others (and not just Cliff) engaged in before this sad season of TC comes to a close. Such a gesture would certainly go a long way toward restoring the show's and Bravo's reputations.

It would also be a nod to justice. In my view, justice demands that Ilan pay a price for his central role in the attack on Marcel, and a good way to exact that price might be for Sears either to withdraw the Kenmore Kitchen equipment from Ilan's prize winnings, or to transfer the equipment to Marcel.

If I were in a position to give advice to Bravo and Sears, it would be: by all means, should he actually win tomorrow, hand Ilan the title "Top Chef". But don't give him a prize for his aggression, and let it be known precisely why.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35759387.post-1771326726741883892007-01-30T13:31:00.000-08:002007-01-30T13:31:00.000-08:00Maybe they are worried about the site on the inter...Maybe they are worried about the site on the internet that encourage people who are upset with TC2 to cancel they subscriptions to F&W.
