Fittingly, the AB team has taken a few days rest in the Queen City.

Please, please tell me you are not in Charlotte, NC. Why, why, why? I am from Raleigh and I would never advise you to go there, let alone Charlotte, which is like three Raleighs in size and a third of one Raleigh in culture.
Anon 3:56, having lived in both Charlotte and Raleigh, I absolutely agree with you that Raleigh is “king” regarding culture. However, Charlotte has a Tiffany & Co., Raleigh does not.
Also, locations of my beloved purveyor of all things gourmet, Dean and Deluca: Charlotte = 2 Raleigh = 0
Charlatans visit Davidson for their weekly dose of class and sophistication. Raleigites get lost and wind up drinking malt liquor at the dirt-track races.
Overrated? I make the trip from my home in South Carolina to the Stonecrest D&D to do my shopping a few times each month. I drive past 2 Fresh Markets along the way.
Overpriced? That's subjective, and I suppose totally dependent on where you normally do your shopping. If you're a regular at Big Lots, then yes, I suppose D&D might be overpriced. D&D's prepared foods may be priced a few pennies more, but offer twice the quality of what I pick up at my local Publix.
BTW, D&D added a downtown cafe a few years ago, making it 3 Charlotte locations.
Hmmm...maybe the one in SOHO is overpriced...to charge $6 for juice ( one serving) is alot for me! Perhaps bc Im from NYC and we get a lot of green grocers for less...

A-B fiddles while Colicchio burns.
Have a good rest, dear hosts.
Charlotte? I hear it's the Atlanta of the South!

Dean and Deluca is overpriced and overrated...sorry...
I think probably Durham tops them both!

I think the "Queen City" is a nickname for Cincinnati, no?
...and West Hollywood
